Project EU-CIP, co-funded from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No 101073878, foresees as an eligible activity the provision of financial support to third parties, as a means to achieve its own objectives.
The main objective of the Open Call Type A is to attract and engage experts in CIP (e.g. CI operators/authorities, research organizations, SMEs, startups, security experts, security technology providers, CIP system integrators, natural persons) to analyse and validate EU-CIP findings in order to better evaluate the current technological and methodological proposition (baseline), enabling the identification of potential gaps to be covered as well as new security challenges to be achieved. Open Call Type A addresses CIP experts aiming to assists in information collection & validation process.
The types of activities to perform that qualify for receiving financial support are related to the validation of the EU-CIP data and information analysis processes and findings (e.g. foresight, insight and added-value reports) defining an evaluation methodology and validation criteria in order to analysis and identify the main security gaps and research challenges.
