DG HOME is organising a two-day annual CERIS FCT/INFRA event to bring together security research practitioners, policy makers, researchers, civil society and industry to discuss cross-cutting topics that have a broad and horizontal impact on research and innovation in this domain. The event will take place in Brussels on 14-15 December 2023.
The first day of the event will be dedicated to exploring the concerns that challenge effective access to high quality and quantity of domain-specific research data and possible solutions, whereas the second day of the event will look at understanding the possible challenges for new stakeholders, notably from NGO/CSOs, to participate in security research consortia, and propose feasible solutions to galvanise greater diversity in consortia.
The overarching aim is to facilitate the sharing of experiences and research findings in order to identify current achievements, possible synergies, and inspire each other while strengthening collaboration on European level.
Registration as well as a draft agenda are available here.
