The EU-CIP Project is pleased to announce that the “Consolidated Proceedings of the Second ECSCI Workshop on Critical Infrastructure Protection and Resilience” were just published by Steinbeis-Edition as open access.
The 2nd European Cluster for Securing Critical infrastructures (ECSCI) workshop was held virtually on 27-29 April 2022. During the workshop, the different approaches to security in several different industrial sectors (e.g. finance, healthcare, energy, transport, communications, water) were presented. The peculiarities of critical infrastructure protection in each one of these sectors have been discussed and addressed by the different projects of the ECSCI cluster that presented their outcomes, discussing the technical, ethical and societal aspects and the underlying technologies (related to security modelling, IoT security, artificial intelligence, combating hybrid threats, increased automation for threats detection, prevention and mitigation measures, information and knowledge sharing, etc.).
The workshop proceedings aim to share with scientists, experts, policymakers and other interested stakeholders in the field of critical infrastructure protection, resilience and security, the knowledge, outcomes and lessons learned, deriving from the keynote speeches, the 21 thematic presentations, and the panel discussions.

The European Cluster for Securing Critical infrastructures (ECSCI) was established by EU-CIP partners, bringing together 2 projects that collaborate in CI Resilience. EU-CIP will now leverage the capacity, organization, community, and achievements of the ECSCI cluster towards establishing an EU-wide knowledge network with advanced analytical and innovation support.
